FOMC Dissent

A recorded vote by a member of the Federal Open Market Committee against the rate decision, named in the statement together with the policy the member preferred. On October 28, 2026 the Fed held rates at 3.75% to 4.00% by 10 votes to 2, with Lisa Cook and Beth Hammack voting for a quarter-point hike.
