Proof of Reserves

A report in which a crypto exchange compares the coins held in wallets it controls with total customer balances, coin by coin, at one moment, usually with a Merkle tree so each user can check their own balance. Binance's October 1, 2026 snapshot showed a bitcoin reserve ratio of 100.35%.
