BNB: what the data says

The native token of the Binance exchange and its BNB Chain ecosystem, used for trading fee discounts and as a broad gauge of exchange-linked crypto activity. Binance periodically runs quarterly token "burns," destroying a portion of the circulating supply based on trading volume, a mechanism designed to reduce total supply over time. Beyond its role on the exchange, it also powers BNB Chain, a smart contract blockchain with its own ecosystem of decentralized applications.
