Litecoin: what the data says
One of the oldest cryptocurrencies, designed as a lighter, faster complement to Bitcoin for everyday payments. Created in 2011 by Charlie Lee, a former Google engineer, it produces a new block roughly every 2.5 minutes — four times faster than Bitcoin — while still maintaining a fixed maximum supply (84 million coins). It's often described as "the silver to Bitcoin's digital gold."
