AMP Climbed 20% in a Dozen Steps From Sunday Morning Into Monday (October 2026)

On October 18, 2026, Flexa's collateral token AMP rose from $0.000709 to a Sunday high of $0.000844 in hourly steps, each on more volume than the last, closed up 11.7% and kept climbing through the Asian morning to $0.000855 on Monday. Replay a staircase rally in a token that had faded its previous two spikes within a day.

AMP is the collateral token of the Flexa payments network, a small-cap token that trades about $2 million to $3 million a day on a quiet session and had spent the week before being pushed around: it jumped 14% to $0.000752 on October 13 on $8.6 million of volume, gave it all back the next day, spiked to $0.000849 on Friday, October 16 and faded to $0.000733 by the close. Saturday was a drift lower to $0.000709. There was no reason to expect Sunday to be different.

The rise came in steps rather than a spike. The 04:00 UTC hour on Sunday took it to $0.000749 on $218,000, the first hour above $200,000 since Friday; the 09:00 hour went from $0.000713 to $0.000783 on $498,000 and the 10:00 hour held the level on $534,000. A pullback to $0.000727 in the early afternoon was bought, and the 15:00 hour printed $0.000788 on $501,000. The evening stairs were steeper: $0.000820 at 18:00 on $487,000, $0.000819 at 19:00 on $426,000, and a Sunday high of $0.000844 in the 20:00 hour, the busiest of the day at $660,000. Each step was followed by a retreat of 2% to 4% that held above the previous step.

The US evening, which had sold every weekend spike in October, trimmed this one by only 6%: the 21:00 hour fell to $0.000758 and then the price held between $0.000768 and $0.000806 until midnight. Sunday closed at $0.000792, up 11.7% on $5.5 million of volume, 70% more than Saturday. Monday's Asian session then resumed the pattern, with the 03:00 hour reaching $0.000839, the 04:00 hour $0.000847 on $253,000, and $0.000855 printed shortly after 05:00 UTC, 20.6% above Sunday's open and 15.8% higher over 24 hours.

The replay is a contrast with the same weekend's single-candle spikes. AMP's volume grew with its price for twelve hours, its pullbacks were shallow and found buyers at higher levels, and the move survived the US evening that reversed Vaulta and The Sandbox on the same day. Whether a token that trades $5 million a day can hold a 20% gain through a Monday US session is the question the replay cannot answer; what it shows is what accumulation looks like on a 15-minute chart, as distinct from a push.
