Gold Back Above $4,000: $3,928 to $4,064 (November 2026)

PAX Gold rose from $3,928 to $4,064 over November 4, 2026, back above $4,000 as the dollar fell after the US midterms. Replay a steady, dollar-driven rally in 15-minute steps.

PAXG, a token backed by physical gold, traded at $3,927.70 on Binance when the replay starts on Tuesday evening, November 3, after gold had spent the previous week below $4,000. It edged up through the night as the US results came in, reaching about $3,954 by 02:00 UTC, without the sharp swings seen in bitcoin at the same time.

The move came with the European morning. Between 05:00 and 06:15 UTC the token jumped from $3,956 to above $4,009, and the 06:00 candle alone carried about $2.2 million of volume, many times more than any quarter-hour of the night. By then the dollar index was falling, down 0.39% to 101.32 early in the session, and the euro and the pound were both higher.

Through the European day the token kept climbing, to $4,045 by 09:00 UTC, then held between $4,030 and $4,045 as US stocks opened higher and Treasury yields slipped. A last push came in the US afternoon: it rose from about $4,035 at 15:00 UTC to the high of the replay, $4,066.66, in the 18:00 candle, while Comex gold futures settled at $4,073, up 3.4%.

The replay ended at $4,063.67, about 3.5% above its start. It is a contrast with the other replays of the same night: no single candle did most of the work, and the rally was built hour by hour as the dollar weakened, which is typical of moves driven by currencies and rates rather than by one headline.
