Apple's Margin Guide: $348 to $323 in an Hour (November 2026)
Tokenised Apple swung from $348.11 to $323.48 in the hour of its earnings call on November 2, 2026, after a beat that came with a 45% to 46% gross margin outlook. Replay how the reaction flipped on the call.
AAPLB, the Binance token that tracks Apple shares, drifted lower through Monday's US session with the rest of big tech: from $341.47 at the start of the 16:00 UTC hour to $337.88 by the 19:00 hour, as an AI-led sell-off pushed the Nasdaq down 1.07%. Apple's shares closed at $338.32, down 1.83%, and the token stood at $339.16 at the end of the 20:00 hour, the last before the close.
The results came out at 21:30 UTC, half an hour after the close. They beat on every main line: revenue of $114.48 billion, up 12%, against about $113.4 billion expected, earnings of $2.10 a share, iPhone revenue up 17% and a 47.9% gross margin. The 21:00 hour swung between $333.55 and $342.89 on $456,351 of volume as traders digested the release, and closed almost unchanged at $339.14.
The earnings call, from 22:00 UTC, decided the direction. Early in the hour the token reached $348.11, 2.9% above the close; then the outlook landed: December-quarter revenue growth of 7% to 10% and a gross margin of 45% to 46%, about two points lower. The same hour fell to $323.48, 7.1% below its high and 4.4% below the close, on $1.18 million of volume, the heaviest hour of the replay, and closed at $327.49.
The rest of the night was a slow repair. The token recovered to $331.64 in the 03:00 UTC hour on Tuesday and ended the replay near $330, about 2.4% below Monday's close, roughly where Nasdaq after-hours trading had left the stock. The replay is a clean example of why the call matters as much as the release: the numbers moved the price in both directions for an hour, and only the guidance, given on the call, settled which way it would go.
