Lilly's Guidance Rally: $1,317 to $1,407 (October 2026)
Binance's tokenised Eli Lilly rose 6.8% on October 29, 2026, from $1,317 before its results to $1,407 in the first minutes of the US session, as Lilly raised its 2026 revenue forecast to $91–92 billion. Replay a pre-market report in a thinly traded token and how the open confirmed it.
LLYB, the Binance token that tracks Eli Lilly's shares, trades thinly outside US hours: on the morning of Thursday, October 29, most quarter-hours changed hands for a few hundred dollars, and the price drifted between $1,303 and $1,317 from 08:00 to 10:45 UTC. On the previous day the token had traded $17,500 in total. Lilly reports before the US market opens, so its third-quarter results reached the token while the stock market was closed.
The release at 6:45 a.m. New York time, 10:45 UTC, produced the widest candle of the day. The quarter-hour opened at $1,317.21, swung down to $1,279.63 and up to $1,360.78, and closed at $1,347.29, up 2.28% on $39,000 and 1,155 trades, more than the whole previous day's volume in fifteen minutes. Revenue had risen 39% to $24.4 billion, led by Mounjaro and Zepbound, and Lilly raised its 2026 revenue forecast for the third time this year, to $91 billion to $92 billion from $85 billion to $87 billion. Adjusted earnings of $7.48 a share included $4.57 of acquired research charges, which trimmed the full-year earnings range to $35 to $36.
The price faded during the pre-market, slipping to $1,331.48 in the 11:00 candle and holding between $1,331 and $1,354 until the open. The regular session decided it. The 13:30 UTC quarter-hour opened at $1,335.99, dipped to $1,327.89 and then rose to $1,407.31, closing at $1,385.38, up 3.70% on $14,600; the next quarter-hour added $16,600 of volume and closed at $1,391.21. The high was 6.8% above the pre-report price, and Lilly's shares ended the day up about 6%, on a day when health care led the S&P 500 while the Nasdaq fell 1.38%.
After the first half-hour the token settled. It eased to $1,361.92 by 15:30 UTC, held between about $1,363 and $1,376 into the US close and drifted up to $1,382.70 in the evening, never giving back the opening gap. Over the UTC day LLYB traded $171,000, almost ten times the day before, and rose 5.64%. Two lessons stand out. In a thin token the first reaction to a pre-market report can swing both ways by 3% within a candle, so the open is the better test; and a gap that holds through the first hour of a session in which the broader market is falling usually reflects real demand rather than a quote that is easy to push.
