Microsoft's After-Hours Swing: $531 to $567 (October 2026)

Binance's tokenised Microsoft jumped from $531.69 to $563.99 within 15 minutes of the company's results on October 28, 2026, fell back to $541, then hit $567.64 during the earnings call. Azure grew 48% to $33.17 billion. Replay an after-hours rally with two peaks.

Microsoft's shares spent Wednesday, October 28, waiting. MSFTB, the Binance token that tracks them, traded between $526.95 and $534.13 through the US session, with hourly volume mostly under $80,000, and closed the 19:45 UTC quarter-hour at $531.69; Microsoft's shares closed at $531.01. Investors had two questions: how much the company had spent on data centres, and whether Azure's growth justified it.

The answers arrived at 20:00 UTC. Azure revenue, disclosed in dollars for the first time, was $33.17 billion, up 48% and above the $32.32 billion expected; total revenue rose 19% to $92.28 billion and adjusted earnings were $4.89 a share against $4.73. Capital spending of $45.2 billion was below the highest forecasts and free cash flow stayed at $18.63 billion. The 20:00 quarter-hour reached $563.99, 6.1% above the close, and finished at $553.33, up 3.94% on $113,000, the busiest quarter-hour of the evening so far. Alphabet, which reported at the same moment, fell more than 8% in its own first quarter-hour.

The first peak did not hold. Over the next 45 minutes the token gave back more than half of the jump, to a low of $541.17 in the 20:45 candle, and fell again to $542.87 in the 21:30 quarter-hour as the earnings call began. Then the second leg: the 21:45 quarter-hour, during the call, reached $567.64, the high of the replay and 6.8% above the close, on $149,000, and the 22:00 candle traded $188,000 between $549.16 and $565.18. Microsoft guided to revenue of $96 billion to $97.1 billion and Azure growth of 49% to 50% for the December quarter, above forecasts of about $95.6 billion and 45%.

The second peak faded as well. The 22:15 candle fell 1.57% to $545.85, and the token spent the night drifting higher on thin volume, ending the replay at $553.61, about 4.1% above the regular-session close and roughly in the middle of the 3% to 5% after-hours gains outlets reported for the shares. The chart is a reminder that after-hours prices on a big report are set by a small number of trades: the token's two highs were 1.9% and 2.5% above the level it settled at, and only the overnight price, built on many more quarter-hours, came close to where the shares were quoted.
